Let me preface this post by saying I'm certifiably OBSESSED with the lace up "trend". I use the term "trend" semi-sarcastically because lace up duds have been in the in and out of style cycle longer than I've been alive. I always feel a little bratty calling a style that can be found in my mom's high school yearbook a "new trend".
